Lufbru Summer Games 2012

Loughborough University Brunei Society recently held its annual Lufbru Summer Games. It took place in UBD Sports Hall and Sports School from 7th to 9th September.

“Main aim of the event was to foster relations between the Brunei UK students” mentioned Fadzlan Suhaimin via email.

Bruneian students from Nottingham, Cardiff, Southampton university-to name a few-partook in various sports activities, such as Netball, Futsal and Badminton.

Officials and sponsors from the Ministry of Education, British High Commissioner and Minister of Energy were also invited to kick-start the event. This included HRH Prince Mateen Bolkiah.

Started in 2007, the annual event has since gain popularity amongst the students in UK.
