The mega hit blockbuster Avatar is set to hit screens for its 2nd and 3rd movie installation in 2016 and in the after future respectively, David Cameron said. The Titanic movie producer stated ‘I am in the process of writing the next two Avatar films now. We are planning to shoot together and post them together, and we will probably release them not quite back to back, but about a year apart. Christmas ’14 and ’15 is the current plan.’
The movie promises to have a lot of graphic animation and super 3D motion screens that guaranteed to blow people away as it did in the 1st one. Cameron as always the perfectionist he is may need more time to push the boundaries of 3D technology in the preceding years.
According to reports, he wants to make Avatar 2 more realistic by shooting it at 60 frames per second, as opposed to the industry standard of 24 frames per second. In comparison, Peter Jackson is shooting The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey at 48 frames per second.
It was not long ago that he was being sued for “stealing” someone’s idea of making the blue monkey film. Guess he will push ahead and not let haters pull him down.
