Bandar Seri Begawan – Registration for the first intake of students for advance diploma courses commenced recently by Brunei Poly technical School.

The newly-established Brunei Polytechnic was consented by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in his titah on October 18, 2008 during Teachers’ Day celebrations.

Applicants can choose from nine advanced diploma courses offered by three schools, namely: Business; Accounting; Finance; Marketing; Management; Entrepreneurship; Web Computing; Information Systems and Technology; Computer Network; and Interior Design. The minimum entry requirement is at least one ‘A’ level in any English medium subject or a relevant Business and Technician Education Council (BTEC)/ Brunei Darussalam Technical and Vocational Education Council (BDVTEC) National Diploma that is determined by the Admission Committee of the particular Advanced Diploma Course.

The minimum entry requirement is one ‘A’ Level in any English-medium subject or relevant BTEC/BDTVEC National Diploma programme as determined by the Admission Committee of the respective programme. Scholarship applicants must possess a credit in the Malay language at GCE ‘O’ Level.

In last October’s, Brunei Polytechninc Secretariat Head Dr Hj Ashri Hj Ahmad said that the new polytechnic will boost education opportunities for the students of colleges and vocational institutes.

Interested applicants who wish to apply for the offered programmes are to acquire application forms available on January 9, 2012 from the Brunei Polytechnic Secretariat, One Stop Centre, 2nd Floor, Ong Sum Ping Condominium, Block 2E, Jln Ong Sum Ping, Bandar Seri Begawan, BA1311, Brunei Darussalam or contact 223446.
